We’re Lucy and Andrew, and Garstang Self Storage is our small, family-run business at South Works, Kenlis Road, Barnacre, close to Garstang and the edge of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape. The site is handy for customers across Wyre, North Preston, the A6 corridor and surrounding villages.
The big advantage is convenience. You can drive through the gate and pull up close to your own container on the concrete yard, so there are no lifts, corridors or trolley runs to deal with. It is a straightforward setup for house moves, decluttering, business stock, tools, seasonal equipment and overspill storage.
Bookings are handled online, with monthly payments in advance. There’s no deposit and no long contract either — just one month minimum, then one month’s notice. The online setup takes about five minutes, and once it’s done you can often move in within a few business hours. Fair and simple. Every container comes with a genuine Squire container padlock and key, so you do not need to source your own lock before moving in.
